Bromma appointed a new Vice-President for R&D. Tobias Eriksson has been working at Bromma for 4 years and leading the R&D team in Singapore. Prior to joining Bromma, Tobias worked at ABB in Product Management, R&D. Tobias is based in Singapore and will in his new role be a member of the Bromma leadership team. More than 16 years ago Tobias moved to Singapore from Sweden to continue his master studies in Electrical Engineering at the National University of Singapore and has since then built his career there. In his free time Tobias enjoys DIY (do-it-yourself) projects – from building PCs to building LEGO and reading non-fiction on science and astronomy.
As the new head of Bromma R&D Tobias will lead a team of 60 engineers located globally with the focus on driving technology development further: “Our mission is to continue with what Bromma has always been known for – leading the technology development in the container spreader industry. Of course to do that we need to ensure we have the right competence, increase our customer focus to find solutions to the problems our customers are facing” – says Tobias.
In his new position, Tobias’ priorities include completing existing projects bringing new innovative products to the market while at the same time planning the future development portfolio. In order to do that he wants to drive an active engagement with Bromma’s customers and business partners.
