At Bromma, we’re proud to share a key milestone in our ongoing journey toward sustainability. As part of our commitment to reducing environmental impact, we’ve made significant progress in transitioning our manufacturing operations to cleaner, more sustainable energy sources.
Here’s How We’re Making It Happen:
Solar Power Integration:
Approximately 40–45% of the energy we use comes from solar panels installed across our factory operations. This plays a vital role in reducing our reliance on non-renewable energy sources.
Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs):
The remaining energy used at our plant in Ipoh, Malaysia, is supported by renewable energy certificates (RECs), ensuring that a significant portion of our energy is sourced sustainably.
Transition to an Electric Forklift Fleet:
We are actively transitioning our forklift fleet from diesel to electric power. So far, we’ve converted eight 2.5-ton forklifts and currently operate nine electric forklifts at the facility. This shift is reducing emissions and improving operational efficiency—and the transition is ongoing as we work toward a fully electric fleet.
This milestone is one of many steps we’re taking to minimize our environmental footprint and provide more sustainable solutions to our customers. We remain committed to advancing our sustainability goals and creating a cleaner future.
