Description

The OSF20/40E is a fully automatic, electrically operated fixed overheight frame designed for fast, safe and efficient handling of flat racks and open-top (OOG) containers. Available in 20 ft and 40 ft fixed configurations, it can be used with any spreader of ISO standard base measures, without adapters or modifications to the parent spreader. Using the OSF20/40E increases the operational speed and safety of cranes, reachstackers and straddle carriers when handling flats and overheight containers.

The OSF20/40E uses an onboard PLC and proximity-switch-verified landing pins to confirm correct seating before the twistlocks engage, eliminating human error from the locking sequence and reducing cycle time. The OSF20/40E does not require a dedicated parking fixture ā€” it can be left directly on the quay or on top of a flat rack, reducing operational steps and quayside congestion.
