Anybus CANopen Gateways
Description
The Anybus – CAN Gateway is a configurable unit which transfers data between the Anybus memory and CAN. The Bromma Anybus – CAN Gateways are available for different crane control system protocols.
The Bromma Anybus – CAN Gateway converts the fieldbus protocol used by the crane control system to DS444 or BCAN (Bromma CAN) and vice versa. The conversion is made without any delay. Each Gateway is configured for one type of crane communication protocal: Profibus, Profinet, Modbus Ethernet, Interbus or DeviceNet. The Gateway is mounted in the crane cabin or in the crane machine room. It is connected to the crane control system with a fieldbus specific cable (not supplied by Bromma). The CAN cable goes to the terminal block for the spreader cable.
